Hi! I'm Vanessa.
How am I qualified to help?
No one can prepare you for the day when you are told that you or your child has a disease.
Confusion. Fear. Overwhelm. Disbelief.
What? Why? How?
If ever there was a reason why I became a holistic nutritionist, my daughter is it. You see, she has a rare auto-inflammatory bone disease called CRMO. Diet and lifestyle (along with cleaning up her gut) have been MAJOR factors in managing her disease, and reducing her "bone shattering" pain. We have been fortunate, but it requires work.
Today, I'm dedicated to helping other families and individuals reclaim control and live the happiest, healthiest life possible.
I believe nutrition plans should be practical, flexible and realistic for real lives. I believe diets should be evidence-based - not trendy - and honour your unique situation.
Pickey eater? I have two. Time crunched? I'm a working mom. Overwhelmed by the whole process? Let me guide you.
My methods combine years of experience.
I am an AIP Certified Coach through Dr. Sarah Ballantyne, Mickey Trescott and Angie Alt
I have worked with some of Toronto's top naturopathic doctors both in clinic and at a leading Canadian supplement company
I hold a diploma in Applied Holistic Nutrition from Canada's leading holistic nutrition college, requiring over 700 hours of in-class instruction
I hold certificates in endocrinology and nutrition, fat loss, blood sugar balancing, energy medicine and live cell analysis
I believe in the integrity of my profession and am a member of the Canadian Association of Natural Nutritional Practitioners
And of course, I have a lot of personal experience in using nutrition to overcome health issues. I live and breathe it.
