Nourishing nettle peppermint tea

Nourish your adrenals with this delightful nettle peppermint blend.

With snow finally falling and temperatures dropping, you may be looking for an alternative to caffeine spiked lattes. Try this simple recipe of Peppermint Nettle Tea.

Peppermint is delightful to the taste buds, aids in digestion, is "warming" whether or not you serve it cold or hot, and is stimulant - a perfect substitute to an early am caffeine boost.

Nettles is an adaptogenic herb used to nourish adrenals (which can come depleted from stress and caffeine!), boost the immune system, reduces inflammation, supports the kidneys, reduces allergies, and can relieve menstrual symptoms. But it's not just for girls! It supports prostate health for men.

Mix 1/3 peppermint to 2/3 nettles and let steep for 5 minutes. Add a few drops of stevia for a touch of sweetness, if that's what you desire. Enjoy throughout the day - warm or cold.
